Expansion follows Comcast’s network investment of more than $880 million in Michigan over the last three years
Today, Comcast announced the extension of its powerful and reliable network in Berrien County, Michigan. This expansion brings Comcast’s full suite of Xfinity residential and Comcast Business services, including Internet speeds faster than a gigabit for homes and up to 100 gigabits per second (Gbps) to businesses in an unserved area in Bainbridge Township, located near Hwy M-140 and Pipestone Lake. This project was a collaborative effort with Bainbridge Township and Berrien County.

Services Available
Comcast offers the following Xfinity services to residential customers across its footprint in Berrien County:
- Xfinity Internet, which offers speeds faster than a gigabit, advanced WiFi gateways, and powerful WiFi Boost Pods that can extend coverage to every corner of customers’ homes.
- Xfinity Mobile, which carries a variety of new mobile phone models, devices and accessories and offers flexible data plans – Unlimited or By the Gigabyte – that fit customers’ unique needs.
- Xfinity X1, which offers live TV, sports, music, and streaming apps. can be controlled using Xfinity’s award-winning Voice Remote. Through Xfinity StreamSaver, customers can bundle Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV+ and save money.
- Xfinity Home, the company’s home security and automation solution.
- Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity, which offers Xfinity Internet customers a 4K streaming device, at no additional monthly cost. The Xumo Stream Box brings together the best of live TV and streaming into one simple, intuitive experience.
Berrien County residents can get online through the company’s Internet Essentials program, a low-cost Internet service available to eligible low-income households. The program has helped 1.26 million Michigan residents connect to the Internet at home since it launched in 2011.
Businesses in Berrien County also have access to Comcast Business’ full suite of services, including Internet speeds up to 100 Gbps, Ethernet, Advanced Voice, Comcast Business Mobile and a variety of cloud services and other advanced services.
