City of Crown Point schedules State of the City address

.The State of the City address by Mayor David Uran has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021 and will take place at the Franciscan Health Pavilion at Bulldog Park from 5-9 pm.  The venue will provide an outdoor atmosphere, increased space, and allow for social distancing.

Mayor Uran will provide a brief recap of the State of the City over the past two years, present awards, and provide an opportunity for networking.

Awards presented with be:

  • Business Longevity – Crown Point businesses who have been in business for 35 years or more in 2019 or 2020 will be recognized with an award.  Crown Point officials are currently taking applications for the Business Longevity Award. Businesses with 25 years or more in the City of Crown Point should submit their information for the city’s database to the following link: https://crownpointin.wufoo.com/forms/zcq2bud0hs725t/.
  • Student Recognition – Two Crown Point High School students who have exceeded the requirements in community service will be recognized and presented with $500 grant to be used towards college for their outstanding efforts.  The grants are sponsored by the City of Crown Point and Crown Point Community Foundation.
