City of Crown Point Adopts Families for the Holidays

City-of-Crown-PointMayor Uran and The City of Crown Point will once again offer assistance to families during the Holiday Season. The City of Crown Point is assisting 12 families and approx. 30 children that have been selected by the Crown Point Schools. With the help of the following partners: Taft Middle School Cass Program, Timothy Ball Elementary School Honor Society, St. Johns United Church of Christ, Strack and Van Til, Culvers, the CPHS Breakfast Club, Alumni Association and Class of 1970, Various City Departments, Board Members, staff and residents are raising funds and collecting food in order to provide each family with a very special Christmas.

Monetary donations can be made the Mayor’s Office of Special Events located at 11035 Broadway Suite E. or at the First Midwest Bank Crown Point Branch located at 1201 North Main Street. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Century 21 Affiliated Office located at 855 E North St. from 9am-5pm Mon-Friday and 9am-Noon on Saturday or Tainted Skin Tattooing from Noon-8pm Tues – Saturday located at 1176 N Main St.
