The Chesterton High School Guidance Department celebrated CollegeGo!Week during the last full week of September and activities will continue throughout the fall. CollegeGo!Week is an annual campaign in the state of Indiana to help Hoosier students plan for education beyond high school. During CollegeGo!Week and throughout the fall months, the Guidance Department/Career Center open their doors to many colleges and universities. Admission representatives hold meetings with students or set up tables in the cafeteria so students can easily access their information.
The list of visitors included The University of Chicago, University of Alabama, University of Indianapolis, Indiana University Northwest, Purdue University North Central, Indiana State University, Ivy Tech Community College, Roosevelt University, Bradley University, Kettering University, Lawrence University, Alma College, Trinity International University, Sweet Briar College, Indiana Wesleyan University, Manchester University, Franklin College, Wabash College, University of St. Francis, DePauw University, Marian University, Grace College, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps, and the Indiana National Guard.
