Program to feature Laser Pop! laser show, One World, One Sky planetarium show
The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana will be continuing with its Second Saturday Family Science Program on Saturday, June 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees may participate in the family mini mission package, which includes a laser light show and a planetarium show for $15 per person.
Beginning with the mini mission, families will test their team building and communication skills. Once the mission is complete, a planetarium show featuring Sesame Street stars Big Bird and Elmo, as well as their new friend Hu Hu Zhu will learn about sunsets and finding starry shapes in the night sky.
After the planetarium show, a laser light show, Laser Pop!, will feature light art set to pop music songs by artists such as N’Sync, Smash Mouth, Pink and The B52’s.
Attendees may also purchase tickets to see just the laser show or planetarium show for $5 for adults or $3 for children. A special package including both shows is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Individual planetarium shows begin at 3:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Individual laser shows begin at 3:50 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
