“We are extremely busy serving our customers right now, but I believe that’s because we are able to take care of them in whatever situation they are in related to the guidelines they are following,” said John Jordan, President of CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana. “We are still offering remote estimates for people who want to show us virtually the work that they need one, but we are finding that many people are comfortable with the protocols we have put in place for in-person estimates as well.”
In addition, before arriving at a job, staff at CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana will let customers know they are healthy, after implementing daily screening procedures and will ask if the customer is as well. In lieu of shaking hands, they’ll greet with the usual friendly verbal greeting or perhaps an elbow (chicken wing). All CertaPro sales staff are wearing masks when social distancing isn’t possible, disposable shoe covers, sanitize hands frequently, and are providing customers with extra information about protecting their health and safety.
“The reality is, this is the new normal. But it’s not a bad thing,” Jordan said. “We’ve had changes in processes and protocols but as long as we can mutually agree that it is safe to proceed on a job, we are going to help our customers get their painting needs completed.”
Whatever a customer’s situation is, CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana will be ready for it.
When working interior jobs, the painting professionals at CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana are committed to maintaining proper distances from customers and each other, wearing masks, or creating a workspace containment area where appropriate and leaving the finished workspace as clean – or cleaner – than when they arrived.
When working exterior projects, staff continue to keep proper distance, are mindful of the surfaces they touch that need to be sanitized, and also leave yards and driveways clean.
