CertaPro of Northwest Indiana welcomes back Jaime Heintz, Office Coordinator

Office Coordinator Jaime Heintz recently returned to CertaPro of Northwest Indiana. About 2 1/2 years ago, Heintz accepted a position outside of CertaPro but quickly learned that she had left something special behind.

“I wish I would have never left,” Heintz said. “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.”

CertaPro is more than a job – it’s all about connection. This family-like atmosphere was what inspired Heintz to return to her former workplace, as she realized her home has been, and always will be, within the CertaPro walls.

“I have never found another company that has a culture like this,” Heintz said. “The training opportunities and the people are wonderful. We get along as a family, not just co-workers.”

Connected with both technology and proximity, Heintz bonds with her colleagues on a daily basis.

“All the office coordinators from other CertaPro franchises are able to communicate through available channels on Microsoft Teams,” Heintz said. “In our office, John's (the owner and president) door is always open if you have a question or if you need something. We have our core values to thank for that.”

CertaPro builds everything they do on five core values. Philosophies such as respect for the individual and practicing continuous improvement are key pieces of why Heintz wanted to return.

“I love working for CertaPro,” Heintz said. “I love their core values and enjoy everybody that I work with here in the office. We strive every day to achieve these values – not just in our business lives but in our personal lives as well.”

For Heintz, the value of delivering what you promise is the value that speaks to her the most.

“When I reapplied to work at CertaPro, I had to commit to always delivering what I promised,” Heintz said. “I even use that value in my personal life. If I promise something, I'm going to do it.”

As the office coordinator for a successful business, Heintz is responsible for many tasks that keep the office running. This type of work appeals to her because, at her core, Heintz is a helper.

“I do a little bit of everything,” Heintz said. “I take care of all the payments and make sure supplies are stocked up. I also answer the phone and set up the estimate appointments.”

For Heintz, the key reason that she enjoys her job is the fact that she spends all day assisting her colleagues and clients.

“As the office coordinator, you are a support system,” Heintz said. “I like helping our valuable team members to complete their respective jobs.”

This collaborative mindset is engrained in everything CertaPro of Northwest Indiana does. Heintz contends that this culture is part of everything they do.

“We all get along,” Heintz said. “We fit. We’re a family, and I enjoy that atmosphere.”

A key tenet of the CertaPro mission is that all employees feel valued and respected throughout every interaction. Heintz agrees that this part of the culture is why she was so happy to return.

“CertaPro is a great company,” Heintz said. “They set high standards, and we follow them. I've never worked for somebody that has those core values.”

This people-focused culture extends to their clients as well.

“We are always building relationships,” Heintz said. “It was nice to come back and continue those relationships. It is nice to have that camaraderie.”

When not at work, Heintz spends time with her family.

“I have several nieces and nephews,” Heintz said. “I help out with them, and I’m very active in their lives. I love being there to support them. I'm the type of person that if somebody needs something they can come to me.”

Heintz enjoys being able to see her extended family at their youth sporting events. She’s a mainstay in the stands and tries to attend as many games as possible to support them.

At home, Heintz enjoys quality time with her husband and their four-legged cat Ollie.

In addition to time with her loved ones, Heintz is an accomplished bowler.

“I've been bowling since the age of 5,” Heintz said. “I play in lots of tournaments. I'm actually headed to Vegas for the USPC Women's National Tournament in a couple of weeks.”
