Calumet College of St. Joseph will hold 58th commencement virtually

During this unprecedented time, Calumet College of St. Joseph is honored to bestow degrees upon 200 students. The College will honor these graduates during a virtual Commencement Ceremony that will be available at noon, Saturday, June 20th.

President Amy McCormack will announce the 200 graduates, consisting of 74 from the master’s degree programs, 119 from the baccalaureate degree programs, and 7 from the associate degree programs. The graduating class also includes students from Italy, South Africa, England, and Serbia.

Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 is Kellyn Vale. Miss Vale will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Studies, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and is from Crown Point, Indiana. She is a four-year member of the Honors Learning Community and co-author of the school’s honor code and a member of the cross country and track programs. Like so many students, Miss Vale balanced school, athletics, and also a maintained a job as part-time New Media Journalist for GreatNews.Life. She is an aspiring author and continue to be a part of the CCSJ family as an assistant coach for the cross country and track programs.

Calumet College of St. Joseph is a private, Catholic institution of higher learning located in Hammond, Indiana.
