Business Women United Network (BWUN) will host its fourth annual Pre-Mother’s Day Dinner at Von’s Victorian Tea Room and Café in Hobart, 310 Main Street at 5:30 p.m. on May 7. Angela Crossin, event organizer, said the event will focus on the unique friends each of us have in our lives through a presentation amply entitled, “Teacup Friends”.
Presenter Pam Bayer will be displaying nearly 20 different tea cups depicting a different “friend” for each teacup. BWUN prides themselves on the relationships they help build through networking.
Looking forward to creating a lasting tradition, BWUN will continue with its belief that community involvement is key to strengthening communities. The organizations first Pre-Mother’s Day Dinner took place in 2011.
Tickets for this year’s event are 35 dollars for BWUN members (45 dollars after May 1) and 45 dollars for non-members. A sit-down meal, dessert table, and presentation are included in the advanced ticket price.
