Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana is kicking off 2024 with the launch of a new tool that is set to completely overhaul how parents interact with their children’s Clubs – the MyClubHub Parent Portal.
Available online at bgcgreaternwi.org, MyClubHub is a new membership management system that allows Club parents to purchase new memberships, renew existing memberships, register for leagues and field trips, pay transportation fees, and more. It is a comprehensive system that offers more information at a glance than Club parents have ever had before.
“We’re not using paper forms anymore – it’s all online, which is awesome,” said Stephanie Letic, director of marketing for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana. “MyClubHub is how parents can handle anything programming-related for their kids. They can see how many spots are open in a program, see anything upcoming that they might want to enroll in, and just generally see everything we have available for their children.”
Created by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, MyClubHub is designed from the ground up for parents to easily manage their family’s membership, and even includes systems to apply for membership scholarships.
“We’re super excited; this is going to make things much easier on the parent’s side,” Letic said. “From now on, you don’t have to come into the Club if you want to register your child for something. If you’ve applied and qualified for a scholarship, it’ll also automatically adjust and show that new membership pricing. This system knows what we do and what parents need.”
The Parent Portal also helps parents keep their Clubs informed about any important news regarding their children – such as an allergy update. Instead of finding a form, printing it out, and bringing it into their Club, they can simply update their child’s information on MyClubHub.
“It’s all seamless from the parents to us,” Letic said. “It’s a weight off the parents’ shoulders; they can rest assured that the information they see on their end is exactly what we see on ours.”
To ease the transition to the MyClubHub Parent Portal, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana has provided a number of easy-to-follow tutorial videos on their website at www.bgcgreaternwi.org/parent-portal/. These explain how to make an account, renew a membership, apply for scholarships, register for leagues and programs, and show where parents can find information such as account statements, attendance records, and more.
“You can see everything that’s going on at the Club right in the Parent Portal,” Letic said. “In the past, you’d have to see it at the front desk. Now, you can see what’s coming up, when registration opens, and plan ahead. It’s a little more forward thinking for the parents.”
