Game Overview
The Crown Point Bulldogs and the Merrillville Pirates faced off on the hardwood on January 14. This game was dominated by the Bulldogs early on and led to a 67-36 win for Crown Point at home.
Junior guard AJ Lux had an impressive stat line with 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Bulldogs. Senior guard Erickson Gibson posted 14 points and 4 total rebounds for the Pirates. Crown Point's zone defense looked stout tonight, holding Merrillville to just 29% from the field. The Bulldogs managed to shoot 51% from the field and were led on offense by Lux, Adzia, and Delich.
