On Tuesday night, the varsity girls Hebron Hawks basketball team faced off against the Boone Grove Wolves. The Lady Wolves came out with a strong lead, winning the game with a final score of 41-25.
Head coach Linda Eleftheri attributed the team’s win, despite the effort by the Wolves, to patience.
“Us being a little more patient on offense and taking good shots lead to the win,” Eleftheri said.
The Hawks (2-5) will next play the LaCrosse Tigers (1-7) on Saturday, January 2 at 6 p.m. The Wolves (4-2) will be facing off against the Morgan Township Cherokees (10-3) on Saturday, January 2 at 12:30 p.m.
