Applications accepted for St. Patrick’s Day Parade entries and food vendors

Crown Point Mayor Uran’s Office of Special Events is planning for the biggest event of the year on March 17, 2020. The 13th annual nighttime St. Patrick’s Day Parade will commence; featuring emergency vehicles, lit entries, Lake County Pipes and Drums, Grand Marshall Mayor David D. F. Uran, the Junior Grand Marshall Event Logo Contest Winner and much more.

Celebration festivities begin on the historic Crown Point Courthouse Square prior to the parade start at dusk.  Vendors will be selling items on the south side of the Courthouse Square such as concessions, parade novelties, glow sticks and festive Irish themed items beginning at 3pm.

The parade will commence during snow, rain or shine on S Main Street around the square.  The Mayor’s Office of Special Events is now accepting applications for both parade entries and food vendors.
