On Saturday, January 21st Andrean High School’s Thespian Company competed in the Indiana Thespian 2017 State Conference at Indiana University - South Bend. After a long weekend attending the state conference, we are proud to share that they have received the following awards:
- Ally Iseminger: Best of Show Short Film (Individual Event)
- Alyssa Maldonado: Superior Musical Solo (Individual Event)
- Ogunde Snelling, Tyree Austin, Kayla McGarel: Best of Show Musical Ensemble (Individual Event)
- Tyree Austin: Superior Musical Solo (Individual Event)
- Kayla McGarel: Superior Musical Solo (Individual Event)
- Hanna Sarosy, Grace Onofrey: Superior Costume Design (Individual Event)
- Patrick Librandi: Superior Scenic Design (Individual Event)
- Alex Lee: Distinguished Senior Award
- Zachary Scalzitti: Best Actor of Conference
- Peter and the Starcatcher: Indiana Chapter Select Award
- Peter and the Starcatcher Crew: Best Technical Element of Conference
- Peter and the Starcatcher: 3rd Place Overall of Conference
Those students that received Best of Show or Superior awards qualify to compete at the International Thespian Conference. As well, Peter and the Starcatcher has been invited to perform at the International Thespian Conference.
