Andrean High School Hires New Athletic Director

Andrean-High-School-Hires-New-Athletic-DirectorAndrean High School is pleased to announce its recent hire of Kelly Fitzgerald, who will join the Andrean team as Athletic Director. Within this role, Fitzgerald will work in conjunction with the Andrean community to ensure the growth of the athletic programs, and the education formation and development of the student-athletes and coaches.

"I am excited; I think Andrean has great athletics and a huge tradition and I want to maintain that and make us go forward," said Fitzgerald. "I am looking to help coaches grow on the court and off the court. Also, helping the student athletes find their way in becoming stronger athletes while combining academics and athletics into one to make sure our students are ready for college."

Fitzgerald comes to Andrean with several years of experience from Roosevelt University. There she worked as Health and Wellness Coordinator and developed numerous programs for the student body at the University.

Dr. Tony Bonta, Principal of Andrean High School, said, "we are very excited to have Kelly join the Andrean family."

The school is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education as well as AdvancED. Located in Northwest Indiana, Andrean High School serves students from over 30 communities including some students from Northeastern Illinois.
