A number of Cross Country athletes at Crown Point and Lake Central high schools were named to the All-Duneland Athletic Conference men's and women's cross country teams on Tuesday.
Representing Lake County on the men's team were Tyler Gray, Jacob Langnehn and Ryan Kepshire (Crown Point) and Zach Hupp, Tyler Kramer-Stephens and Casey Garvey (Lake Central).
On the women's side, the two schools were represented by Sarah Hunsley and Megan Zajaz (Lake Central) and Kayla McGurk (Crown Point).
La Porte High school earned a sweep of the conference MVP award, as Anthony Didion won it on the men's side and Elena Lancioni won the women's.
The Valparaiso boys and La Porte girls were able to take home first place in the conference team standings.
