All American Mayhem Roller Derby Double Header

Join the South Shore Roller Girls as they unveil two home teams at a double header at Jean Shepherd Center at 3031 J.F. Mahoney Drive, Hammond, IN, 46323. The fun begins at 6pm when the South Shore Roller Girls’ first home team stands off against Dire Skates from Richmond, IN. The second frenzy begins at 7:45pm when the South Shore Roller Girls’ second home team defends their turf against the Happy Camper Rollergirls from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Doors open at 5:30pm; tickets may be purchased at the door at $10/adult or $5/children age 6-10. Children 5 and under are admitted free of charge. Fans are encouraged to dress in red, white and blue.

Watching double the bangin’ hits, double the boomin’ blocks, and double the derby will surely double your appetite. The food and drink at the concession stands provided by Martinis Steakhouse and Seafood from Valparaiso will keep you fueled and satisfied so you can continue watching the All American darlings on the quad wheels wreak mayhem. For fans 21 years old and over, beer will be also be served.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 17 of Hammond. The mission of DAV Chapter 17 is to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. They accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
