Sean Dardeau, FACHE, has been the Market CEO for Porter Health Care System since early 2017, and shares with us a wealth of information about how Porter Regional Hospital and sister facilities are striving to help make Northwest Indiana a healthier community. His visions for the health system, backed by nearly three decades of healthcare leadership experience, are focused on high quality care, physician recruitment, and filling healthcare service gaps in our region.
Who is Sean Dardeau?
Before becoming Market CEO of Porter Health Care System, Sean Dardeau spent nearly three decades working to improve healthcare in his community. Since joining the team at Porter, Dardeau and his family love their new home in #NWI.
Investing in healthcare
Thanks to Porter Health Care System's network of hospitals (including sister hospitals in La Porte and Knox), patients will begin to have a more integrated healthcare experience. And, the health system has added more than 30 new providers, including a neurosurgeon at Porter Regional Hospital. Looking ahead, Porter Health Care System is working to foster high-quality communication between the hospital and other providers to keep you healthy.
State of healthcare
Healthcare in #NWI is competitive with some high-quality medical providers. According to Dardeau, the competition raises the bar for healthcare providers on quality and customer service to benefit everyone in the Region.
Making an impact
Dardeau came to Porter with a plan, which included building a team and adding new physicians from the Region with local values. Part of his plan included maximizing programs the hospital already offers to better serve their patients.
