2024 Independence Day Recap: 4th of July in Northern Indiana

For years, GreatNews.Life (GNL) has been capturing your favorite Independence Day moments every 4th of July. From our very first celebration in Valparaiso in 2009, GNL has always provided top-notch photography for the community when it comes to celebrating this country.

This year, GNL managed to send photographers to 13 holiday events ranging from parades to firework viewings to naturalization ceremonies. In the Region, we captured smiles in Hammond, Valparaiso, Lake Station, Crown Point, Whiting, Portage, La Porte, Hobart, and Michigan City.

With the launch of Michiana.Life this year, GNL was also honored to add celebrations in Mishawaka and Elkhart to our catalog this year. Thank you to all the cities that gave our photographers the opportunity to make your holiday this year a little more special. We hope to continue serving Northern Indiana in catching all of the colorful memories made during the 4th of July.

We’ve shot a thousand photos this holiday season. Check them out below and see if we got you celebrating this proud nation at one of the 2024 Independence Day events we covered!
