Chesterton Middle School students, left to right, seventh graders Lucas Needham, Matthew Szymaszek and eighth grader Lucas Driskill were the winners of the school level spelling bee. Needham placed first and will represent CMS and Szymaszek, runner-up will be his alternate at the Lake/Porter County Spelling Bee to be hosted at Wheeler High School on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6:00 p.m.
