Curious George is taking a culinary journey around Westchester Township this summer! Follow the weekly clues given at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Avenue, Chesterton, or Hageman Library, 100 Francis Street, Porter, to find George at different restaurants in Chesterton and Porter. George may be found each week during Westchester Public Library’s summer reading program for children, Neighbors of the World.
The second week hunt for Curious George will be June 24-29. This week, George is trying not to fill up on naan bread before his curry arrives at this restaurant on Roberts Road.
When you find George, take a picture with him and email it to heather@wpl.lib.in.us for Thomas Library and suzanne@wpl.lib.in.us for Hageman Library. Pictures will be posted on bulletin boards at the libraries to which they are submitted. Each child photographed will also be given an additional entry slip for the Summer Excursion grand prize: a Lego digital camera! Be sure to include the name and phone number of each child pictured so entry slips may be filled out.
