Winners of the first annual Liberty Intermediate district banner contest are The Rebels, the combined classes of Sheri Simmons' fifth grade class and Connie Linsemeyer's sixth grade class. A district team is comprised one fifth grade and one sixth grade class. Each district chooses a name for their team. Throughout the school year, all of the districts compete in various activities to earn the most points to win the banner. The banner was presented to the winners by Principal Greg Guernsey on the last day of school.
