2014 Hebron 4th of July Celebration

fireworks-4thHebron has several events planned for its Independence Day celebration. A fireworks display will be presented at dusk on Thursday, July 3, at Hebron High School, 509 South Main St.

The Independence Day parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 4. The parade will start at Hebron High School and progress north on Main Street to end at Country Square Plaza. Parade theme is “Patriotism is Alive and Well in Hebron.” This year's parade features 3 marching bands and the Orak Shrine. Parade entry forms may be obtained at Russ' Print Shop, NITCO, DeMotte State Bank, or the Hebron Chamber of Commerce website.

Parade goers may participate in the Road Apple Derby. Tickets are $5.00 each, with prizes of $500, $300 and $200. All proceeds will benefit the Hebron Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. Tickets are available at Russ' Print Shop and DeMotte State Bank.

Immediately following the parade, there will be a flag raising at the corner of Main and Sigler Streets.

A Turtle Derby will be held on July 4th at noon in the 1st Source Bank parking lot at 111 West Sigler Street. Children may bring their turtles to race for a chance to win prizes.
