Blues & BBQ Highland IN B.P.O.E Elks Lodge 981 NWI
Blues and BBQ will be hosted at the Highland Elks Lodge 981 on Friday September 11 beginning at 6pm. Tickets are still on sale at The Elks! $20 per person includes BBQ dinner featuring smoked pulled pork with smoked bacon macaroni and cheese. There will be great BBQ and live music by Upside Down & Backwards.
Stepping Stone Shelter Wine & Beer Fest Fundraiser
Wine & Beer Fest to benefit the Stepping Stone Shelter on September 11th at Blue Chip Casino. There will be appetizers to compliment the wine and beer as well as desserts. Live music by Southside Denny and a silent auction as well. The evening begins at 7pm in the Stardust Center. Sponsorships are still available.

500 Turkeys Fundraising Event
On Sunday, September 13th there will be a fundraising event. Painting in the Park will be held at Haven Hallow Park in Portage Township. The event will be from 4p-6p and is for ages 6 and up. During the event participants will be painting a Minion painting with instruction from Canvas Escapes. The fee is $22 and that includes all the painting supplies seats are limited to 25 people.
