14th Annual Porter County Gardening Show
$10 tickets at the door, includes over 100 vendors of gardening and general interest, terrific seminars and demonstrations, seed & bulb exchange (everyone gets 5 free tickets for free seeds & bulbs), free children's activity area and much more, details at http://www.pcgarden.info/gardening-show/

Portage Rebuilding Together Annual Pancake Breakfast 
Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for kids 5 to 10 and 5 and under 5 is free. All profits will benefit Rebuild Day this year. 

Michigan City Show and Tell 
Do you have Michigan City memorabilia in your attic, scrapbook, or closet? The Barker Mansion is hosting a Michigan City Memorabilia Show and Tell event on Saturday, January 28 at 11 am and welcomes your contributions. During the free event, the public will share their treasured items with the crowd. 

Purdue Northwest Kids Day
Sponsored by McDonald's, PNW will offer free admission to all kids ages 17 and under. Doors open at noon, and carnival games, face painting, coloring areas and more will be set up for the kids, plus free t-shirts and mini-basketballs to the first 100!

Big Barn Beer Fest
In addition to unlimited sampling of over 100 craft beers, there will also be a food buffet and live music. This festival is a chance to sample some of the best craft beer from all over the region while supporting The Lake Area United Way, Hobart Food Pantry, and Portage Township Food Pantry

Maestro Johan de Meij to guest conduct Valparaiso University Chamber Concert Band and Windiana
Award winning composer and conductor, Johan de Meij will present a concert of his works with Valparaiso University Chamber Concert Band and Windiana Concert Band. They will be joined by guest artists Maura Janton Cock (soprano), Matthew van Emmerik (euphonium), and the Southlake Children’s Choir. 

Portage High School Track and Field's Night at the Races
The entry ticket costs $5 which includes admission, snacks, and giveaways. Come out and have fun while supporting PHS Track and Field Team. 21+ event. Horses can be purchased for $25.

Hammond Region Rap Show
The all-ages Region Rap Show taking place on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Hammond Civic Center. Headlining performance by Twista. Other performances by Liptak, Al Koleon, Flee Gang, Chino Marks, and Xavier Taylor. Show MC: DJ KCaeser the Crowd Pleaser.

La Porte Service League Annual Play "The Top Job!"
It's that time of year again that the LaPorte community looks forward to -' LaPorte Service League's Annual Play.' This year's play is called "The Top Job!" and it's going to be a great fun event for all the family to enjoy. 

Purdue Glee Club Concert
Urschel Laboratories proudly presents and The Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso hosts the Purdue Varsity Glee Club in concert. This popular concert is a fund-raising activity for the Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso. The proceeds will be used to help children and families in Greater Valparaiso in addition to some state, national, and international Kiwanis projects.
