Producers at Memorial Opera House
Memorial Opera House is launching thier first production of 2017 with The Producers. The play is based on the 1968 Film, and winner of 12 Tony awards, which is about a scheming producer and his mousy accountant who aim to produce the biggest flop on Broadway in this laugh-outloud spectacle.

6th Annual Gary Film Festival

13th Annual Karstens’ Club Challenge Chili Cook Off
Join in on the fun, vote for your favorite chili to place the top three clubs in the finals, and find out which club wins the Karstens’ Chili-Head Traveling Trophy. Participating clubs include: DAV #023, Elks Lodge #432, Michigan City Exchange Club, Michigan City Fish & Game Club, Moose Lodge #980 Family Center, American Legion Post 37, Guardian Riders, V.F.W. and the St. Joe Club.

My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra

Lights Up Sound Down February – Lego Batman
Lights Up Sound Down is a special movie showing for kids with sensory issues/special needs, with the lights up higher than normal and the sound turned down to medium. This creates an amazing opportunity for families to be able to visit a movie theater, especially if their child is intimidated by loud noises or bright lights. Family Advocates will host its 3rd Annual CAYA Bowl-a-Thon on February 18, 2017 at City Lanes in Michigan City. Come out and support a great cause. 

Hammond Celebrates 2nd Annual 219 Day - Back in Rat
Mayor Tom McDermott, Jr. brings 219 Day “Back in Rat” to the Hammond Civic Center on Saturday from 6:00 pm until midnight with the holiday that is all about ‘da Region. The event boasts free admission with craft beer, food vendors and entertainment exclusively from the 219.

Valparaiso Elks #500 27th Annual Wild Game Feast
An epic film music concert featuring the music of John Williams in honor of his 85th birthday will be presented by the Chamber Concert Band of Valparaiso University and the Valparaiso University High School Wind Symphony on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Chapel of the Resurrection on the campus of Valparaiso University at 7:30pm.

Portage Township YMCA: Give Me a 'Y-M-C-A'
In this beginner level class, girls ages 4-10 will learn basic Cheerleading techniques, make new friends and most importantly HAVE FUN in a team setting. The girls will practice one evening per week and cheer at the youth basketball games on Saturday mornings.
