Dance & Romance: A Valentine's Journey Join the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and Music Director/Conductor Kirk Muspratt for “Dance & Romance – A Valentine’s Journey” on Friday, February 10 at 7:30pm at The Auditorium at Bethel Church (10202 Broadway, Crown Point.) The concert will feature Yana Reznik, piano.

Schererville Mother Son Dance  Join the Schererville Parks and Recreation Department at the Schererville Community Center for an unforgettable evening at the "Medieval Princess and Noble Knight" Daddy-Daughter/Mother-Son dances. Dads/Moms, take your daughter/son out for a night of food catered by Capris Pizza, dancing, and fun. Get ready to explore the elegant castle turrets or make your own sword as we party the night away. “Don’t forget to dress up for this event.

Clapton Tribute Band to Perform  A “Music in the City” concert benefiting Michigan City Area Schools athletic programs will be held on Friday, February 10 at 8:00 pm at Blue Chip Casino’s Stardust Event Center in Michigan City. The concert features Journeyman—A Tribute to Eric Clapton. Journeyman is led by Chicago area singer/songwriter/guitarist Shaun Hague. Hague has established an impressive resume over the past decade.

La Porte County Family YMCA Fitness Frenzy  Event participants can choose from exciting group exercise classes like Zumba, Step and Tone, Yoga and Aqua Boot Camp, each offered in half-hour increments. Feline Community Network Flapjacks for Felines!  Join us for a Saturday morning breakfast! You will receive a great breakfast all while helping FCN raise much needed funds. Help us raise even more funds this day by tipping our volunteers! They will be our servers for the day and any tips given will be donated to FCN!

Romantic Barker Mansion Tour  Barker Mansion’s Behind the Scenes Tour is getting a Valentine’s Day twist on Saturday, February 11 at 7 pm Central Time. The two-hour tour, which is offered intermittently throughout the year, focuses on all the areas that are off-limits during a standard mansion tour. These spaces include the newly remodeled basement, laundry room, former servant’s quarters, archival storage areas, closets, and the kitchen.

Epic Film Music Concert featuring the music of John Williams  An epic film music concert featuring the music of John Williams in honor of his 85th birthday will be presented by the Chamber Concert Band of Valparaiso University and the Valparaiso University High School Wind Symphony on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Chapel of the Resurrection on the campus of Valparaiso University at 7:30pm.
