Tommy Gun’s Garage is offering specially priced tickets to their dinner and musical comedy on Thursday, July 17. For $50 per person, diners will be transported back to 1929 during Chicago’s Prohibition Era.
According to Chris Adams, director of sales and marketing for Tommy Gun’s Garage, the show will offer interactive fun from the moment guests arrive.
“Our authentic Roaring 20s speakeasy features gangsters, flappers and our guests, who will enjoy delicious food and drinks being served by ‘da mugs’ and ‘da molls,’” said Adams.
Cost of tickets includes dinner, with a selection of different entrees, soup or salad, a vegetable and a potato, dessert and a beverage. Alcohol and appetizers are available at an additional cost. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and guests are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. The show will begin at 7:15 p.m.
“We’ve been doing this (show) for 27 years, and Prohibition lasted for 13 years,” said Adams. “We’ve been able to make Prohibition last twice as long as the government could.”
