“I think it’s good that we came together the beginning of the season. We were together, but we weren’t always on the same page. So throughout the season, we really worked to communicate more, even on Saturday practice. We made sure we bonded more, communicated more, texted, FaceTimed, whatever we needed to do to get that chemistry off the court, that we needed on the court. We can say anything and still be okay after we can get on each other, push each other to our limit, and be the best competitors we can be. So that was just our main goal going into the sectional knowing that a lot of times, things will always go our way so we always have to learn to keep our composure more and just work together as a team through on the diversity.”- Valencia Miller (Hammond Central)
