Legacy Foundation, the community foundation for Lake County, Indiana, announces community grants totaling $239,428 to 23 organizations. The awards, which are distributed through the Foundation's Transform Lake County fall grant cycle, are intended to strengthen and empower nonprofits, neighborhoods, and residents in Lake County.
“The organizations selected represent nonprofits that are helping our community residents address needs such as food insecurity, healthcare, and youth after school programming,” said Kelly Anoe, Legacy Foundation’s President and CEO.

Transform Lake County grants are supported by the Lake County Community Fund and multiple Unrestricted Funds at Legacy Foundation. “Legacy Foundation receives far more in requests than what we can fund each year.
