Family, internal medicine physicians accepting new patients in Homewood, Olympia Fields
Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC recently added four new family and internal medicine physicians serving patients in the South Suburbs.
Internal medicine physicians Joseph Guan, MD and Justin Li, DO as well as board-certified family medicine physicians Caroline Kim, DO and Josephine Minnicino, MD all joined Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC this fall.
Dr. Minnicino attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica and completed her residency at SIU Medicine Center for Family Medicine in Quincy, Ill. Among her clinical interests are cardiovascular, respiratory and mental health as well as orthopedic issues.

Dr. Guan attended medical school at Rush University’s Rush Medical College and completed his residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, both in Chicago. Among his clinical interests are cancer prevention, chronic disease, smoking cessation and weight management.
Dr. Kim attended medical school at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Ark. and completed her residency at UAMS Health in Little Rock, Ark. Among Dr. Kim’s clinical interests are cardiovascular and respiratory issues, chronic disease, mental health, osteopathic medicine and sleep disorders.
Dr. Li attended medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Ill. and completed his residency at UI Health in Chicago. Among his clinical interests are musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and abdominal disorders.
