Free event features food, film and facts about women’s health
Franciscan Health Olympia Fields is hosting a free women’s pajama party aimed at sharing information about women’s cancer and heart health.
PJs, Popcorn and Girl Talk is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Emagine movie theater, 19965 LaGrange Road in Frankfort.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the event. Those attending will receive popcorn and a soft drink, a live women’s cancer and heart health question and answer session with physicians, a viewing of the movie, “The Preacher’s Wife” and a gift.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for check-in, with the program beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC Medical Oncologist Andrea Amico, MD, MA and Cardiologist Brittany Dixon, MD, both of whom practice at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, will take the stage at 6 p.m. and serve as panelists for a live women’s cancer and heart health question and answer session, followed by a showing of the movie.
The evening will conclude with giveaways and a free Vera Bradley Zip ID case for all participants.
