Event Information
The art of wheel throwing pottery is both a therapeutic and expressive way to create functional pottery. Join the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department for an upcoming seven-week wheel throwing course. Students will learn to apply aesthetics, proper thickness and craftsmanship necessary to create their pieces while being lead by local artist Alayna Bublitz. All skill levels welcome! Pre-registration is required at the Park Office (250 Pine Lake Avenue) or by calling 219-326-9600. Additional information can be found at www.laporteparkandrec.com. Children's classes are also offered through the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department, along with a wide array of other recreational programming.
