Journeyman Distillery to host Polynesian-themed dinner and multiple events this fall

Bringing unique and interesting events to the area, Journeyman Distillery recently hosted a one-of-a-kind Polynesian-themed dinner at its Three Oaks, Michigan location.

Presenting a menu beyond what is normally available, Executive Chef Amanda Salas and her talented team crafted a menu inspired by the vibrant flavors of Polynesia.

Highlights included succulent roasted pork loin and pulled pork, served with flavorful accompaniments like roast pineapple and Polynesian BBQ sauce. Guests could also enjoy a refreshing cold buffet featuring shrimp poke, tropical fruit salad, macaroni salad, and luau salad.

For the main course, the hot buffet featured Huli Huli chicken, Polynesian meatballs, and corn on the cob. For dessert, guests could indulge in Piña Colada panna cotta, mango lime tarts, or chocolate macadamia nut tarts.

To complete the theme, guests were also encouraged to get into the fun. Guests dressed to impress in their most colorful luau attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The highlight of the event was the series of contests, including the best conga line, limbo, and luau dance. Participants showcased their skills and creativity, earning cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd.

Journeyman’s flair for bringing unparalleled experiences to their guests continues throughout fall and the rest of the year.

Through September 28, enjoy Summer Music Live in Valparaiso with free live music in the courtyard every Friday and Saturday. This event is open to the public and a perfect way to enjoy the season's final stretch. As a Popcorn Festival kick-off on Friday, September 6, enjoy music by DJ Eddie 'Djdoublee' Escalante. Don't miss out on the fun! As always, dining reservations can be made at journeyman.com/unionhall.

Journeyman is also bringing back Oktoberfest at the Valpo location. Connoisseurs of all types will enjoy the Meet the Makers series as well as the Barrel-Aged Brew Fest.

October ends with a Halloween dance party at each Journeyman location complete with costume contests, themed drinks, and spooky decorations.
