Published: August 22, 2023The Crown Point Bulldogs topped the Lake Central Indians 2-1 in a close Duneland Athletic Conference girls soccer match-up on Tuesday evening. Senior defender Olivia O’Keefe scored the go-ahead goal during a Bulldog corner kick in the game’s closing minutes.
The win moves the Bulldog’s record up to 4-0-1, while Lake Central drops to 2-2-1. Crown Point will look to extend their winning run with a win against Lowell on Thursday, while Lake Central head home and look to bounce back against the Griffith Panthers that same evening.
