On Thursday, July 27, McColly Real Estate held its 48th annual Awards and Recognition Celebration to celebrate McColly agents from Indiana and Illinois, staff and management from both McColly Real Estate and affiliate company, Community Title. In 2022 McColly Real Estate closed over $1 billion in residential sales volume with more than 3,800 sides of business. All gathered at Innsbrook Country Club to enjoy a breakfast, be celebrated for the champions they are, and walk away feeling inspired to achieve even more success.
“McColly always does a great job of celebrating its agents. They go above and beyond to make us feel special and recognize our achievements,” said Kathy Schroeder, assistant managing broker.
Each year McColly builds the banquet around a different theme. Naturally, the theme of this year’s award ceremony was “Breakfast of Champions,” which perfectly captured the McColly agents and staff's tireless effort to set themselves up for greatness. Who knew a box of Wheaties could make such fantastic decorations?
“Every year when I pull up to this event, it’s fun to guess what new idea McColly has come up with for us. It gives me goosebumps to think that they go through all this effort to create an event that brings everyone together and shows them how much they matter. I think that effort becomes part of the synergy of the McColly companies. I’m proud to be a part of McColly,” said Jeff Bennett, managing partner of McColly Bennett Commercial Advantage.
“One of the best things about this banquet is that it brings all the agents together. It gives us a chance to see people we haven’t seen in a while or meet people from other offices that we don’t normally get to work with. It’s great,” said Paul Boyter, managing broker.
Once everyone was finished with breakfast, McColly President Tracy Parus took the stand to give everyone a heartfelt thank you for all the work they had done in the past year.
“Working hard and working smart has made you winners. You are true experts in your field. Your efforts and brilliance delivered fantastic results. Every success and defeat encourages us to rise to be better together. I thank all of you for being at 100% no matter how difficult life can be,” said Parus.
After Parus’ moving speech, it was time to hand out awards. People beamed with pride as agent after agent went up to be recognized and receive their award.
“I love seeing everyone’s faces, especially the newer agents’ when they get recognized for achieving their goals. Events like this boost people’s confidence – it pushes them to do even more the next year,” said Schroeder.
Realtor Brent Wright, who won the President’s Platinum Individual Award for being the number-one producer in Indiana, shared how the event and recognition makes him feel valued. “I think it’s great that they hold this every year so people know that they are appreciated,” said Wright.
Many service awards were presented, ranging from 10 to 35 years, a true testament to the company’s commitment to taking care of their agents and staff.
Overall, McColly’s 48th annual Awards and Recognition Celebration couldn’t have been a bigger success. McColly is proud of every single one of its agents and employees and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow in the years to come.
“You are the best team any company could ever have and we are privileged to have everyone here who has made this company soar. Always remember: every time you are given a task, no matter how hard it may be, you persevere, and that is why you have achieved so much today,” said Parus.
