NITCO Donates to Hebron Fire Department in 2016

NITCO President Tom Long presented the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department with a donation to support the department’s equipment fund. Hebron Fire Chief Chad Franzman and Assistant Chief John Galloway accepted the check on behalf of the department.

This donation is being put towards new and upgraded equipment for the department. Hebron’s Volunteer Fire Department is vital to the operation of the town. It is important for these volunteers to have proper supplies and functioning equipment when it comes to providing the emergency care the citizens of Hebron rely on. Up-to-date equipment can be the difference between life and death in some situations. NITCO is pleased to support our local service men and women who protect our town and help them get the equipment they need to do their jobs properly and reliably.

The 30 members of this all-volunteer department provide Fire, Rescue and BLS non-transport protection to 7,579 residents and 90 square miles including the Town of Hebron, Boone Township and Eagle Creek Township in Lake County. We thank you for your bravery and service!
