Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting for Westville’s Newest Animal Clinic

***Hero Pet Cuts the Ribbon on Beautiful Clinical and Office Facility ***

On July 15th 2022, Hero Pet Hospital, cut the ceremonial ribbon on the new construction of 5,400 Square feet of office, exam and procedural space at the very visible corner of Hwy 421 and US State Rd. 2..

“This celebration finally gives us the opportunity to say thank you to all of those that played a part in making the clinic a reality.  Covid and high demand for our services prevented us from doing this last year when we opened in August.  We grew much faster than anticipated.  In this last year we have seen over 4,000 clients with over 6,300 pets.  We now have 24 full and part time employees which is twice the staff that we thought we would need for this first year. ” stated Dr. Lisa Booth, Owner and Co-Founder of Hero Pet Animal Hospital.   “We are also having an open house to the public on Saturday July 30th from 11-2.  The clinic will be closed that day so we can offer tours of the clinic.  Our rescue partners will be present too, talking about their organizations, selling items to support their causes, and will have some of the pets they have up for adoption.  We are encouraging all of our clients along with the public to come out for a visit.”

“We are extremely pleased to be collaborating with the Town of Westville to spur economic development.  With their growth, we are supporting entrepreneurs who can get more citizens to work and in turn be able to provide for their families. We also say Thank you to the Westville Town Council for their vision” stated Sheila Matias, La Porte County Board of Commissioners President.

“We applaud the tremendous vision and follow through that the Booth family has demonstrated here in Westville today. Not only does the Clinic offer easy access to the best veterinary care it has beautified this very visible corner as well.  It shows that when we work together all things are possible”, Stated LaPorte County Council President, Randy Novak.

The new property is open at the intersection of Hwy 421 and St. Rd. 2.  The 5,400 sq ft facility will host 5 exam rooms and offer medical, surgical, dental, and wellness services for dogs and cats.

When Mr. Ryan Booth and the LaPorte Community and Economic Development Director Mr. Tony Rodriguez proposed the creation of an Economic Revitalization Area we asked how can we help?  And here we stand with an awesome new addition to Westville’s business corridor. Congratulations Hero Pet Animal Hospital and the Booth Family, Stated Mr.  Mike Albert, President of the Westville, Indiana Town Council. “I am very excited about the growth opportunities that Hero Pet’s project has created” concluded Mr. Albert.   Anyone interested in learning more about how to invest in Westville Indiana or LaPorte County please contact Tony Rodriguez, EDFP, Director LaPorte County Comm & Eco.
