Halloween Howl 5K, 2K & Dog Walk

Event Information

Join the Valpo Parks for the 3rd annual Halloween Howl Run on Sunday, October 24! Grab your costume and join us at Creekside Trails for a "howling" cross country style race. Test your endurance against the rolling hills of this beautiful property on the 5K course or smooth it out on the 2K fun run/walk. New this year, a dog friendly 3/4 mile course!

Be sure to grab your finisher pumpkin and enjoy some hot cider after the race! A beautiful fall display will also be on site to snap a quick complimentary photo from Valpo Parks.

5K Run: 8:30AM - 10:00AM ($30)
Test your endurance against the rolling hills on the 5K course of Creekside Trails! Timed event with a pumpkin reward at the finish line. Long sleeve t-shirt included with registration (no shirt saves $5).

2K Family Run/Walk: 9:00AM - 10:00AM ($30)
Untimed, fun run with a pumpkin reward at the finish line. Long sleeve t-shirt included with registration. Jogging/all-terrain strollers allowed for 2K but keep in mind that paths are somewhat rugged.

Dog Walk: 9:30AM - 10:00AM ($10)
Pet bandana included with registration and a pumpkin reward at the finish line. Option to purchase long sleeve t-shirt at checkout. During this event we ask that you keep your dogs on their leash at all times.
