The Hammond High School Wildcats’ win streak grew to 11 straight on Thursday night with their 74-34 victory over the Bishop Noll Warriors.
It was a strong overall effort from the Wildcats – especially defensively in the second half, holding the Warriors to just 15 points over the two quarters. Sophomore Jordan Woods, however, was not 100% satisfied with the win despite his own 21 point effort.
“We could’ve played better, we came out slow,” Woods said. “We’re the best team out here. We have to get better and work on it in practice.”
Hammond (12-1) will face Calumet New Tech at home on Monday, while Bishop Noll (1-8) will defend against Hanover Central on Tuesday.
