Chesterton Boys Soccer Recognition

The Duneland School Board members recognized the Chesterton High School Boys Soccer Team State Champions last evening at their December meeting for winning their second state championship in three years. CHS also broke eight scoring records in the victory and led the Knights, 6-0 at halftime this past October 31.

The school board also recognized the accomplishments of team members Zack Bowser who scored goals and had two assists and Senior Nick Biel who was named the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award for excelling in a strong mental attitude, scholarship, leadership, and athletic ability.
