- City offices will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

- Hammond Parks and the Hammond Public Library will hold a free Outdoor Movie Night on September 19 at 7:00 pm at the Dowling Park Athletic Complex Plaza on J.F. Mahoney Drive.
