St. Catherine Hospital offers Diabetes Education classes. The classes have been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education. The classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursdays. The classes in Spanish are held on the second Thursday of the month. Attendees will learn how to follow a special diet, exercise, monitor glucose levels, manage new medication and make food substitutions. Registration is required.
