Chesterton High School Show Choir participate in inaugural all-state experience

On October 24, four Chesterton High School Show Choir members, left to right, Calvin Anders, Delaney Scheller, Eric Ailes, Kayla Szymanski, traveled down to Purdue University in Lafayette, IN to participate in the Inaugural All-State Show Choir Experience.  At this event, 40 high school age singers/dancers combined to create the very first All-State High School Show Choir.

The students learned four numbers in just under two days and were taught by clinicians Paul Gulsvig (Minneapolis, MN) and Stephen Todd (New York, NY).  Their hard work culminated in a performance that also featured the Purdue Varsity Glee Club and the Purduettes.

‘We are extremely proud of our four show choir members for representing Chesterton High School and working hard to continue to be outstanding performers and young adults,” said CHS Show Choir Director Kristin Morris.
