St. Mary’s first-graders honor Saint Francis by assisting Humane Indiana

St. Mary’s first-graders honor Saint Francis by assisting Humane Indiana

On October 4th, the first graders at St. Mary Catholic Community School in Crown Point held a Pet Donation Drive in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi.  The Children collected food, treats, toys, blankets, leashes, and collars, along with many other items. The donations went to Humane Indiana. Shellie Dell, Indiana Humane’s Community Relations Manager and SMS Alumnus, said, "My heart is so full! What an amazing class of first graders!”
