A visit from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) found Marram Health Center to be 100% compliant in 93 standards used to evaluate Federally Qualified Health Centers. These results demonstrate the high quality of care that patients can expect to receive at the health center.
“Marram offers a nice, warm environment where people genuinely care, and that has been reflected in the results of this site review,” stated Matt Burden, President/CEO of Porter-Starke Services.
Marram Health Center, as the primary healthcare clinic of Porter-Starke Services, serves nearly 3,000 patients annually. Primary care, dental care, and behavioral health services are available to all members of the community through Marram Health Center’s programs, regardless of their ability to pay.
Aileen Wehren, Vice President of Systems Administration, gave credit to Marram Health Center leadership and staff for the HRSA site visit results and their contribution to the community.
“I’d like to thank Medical Director Dr. Roland Walker for his leadership and the entire Marram Health Center staff for the work they do for our community,” Wehren said.
HRSA oversees the nation’s public Health Center Program and funds health centers across the country, including Marram Health Center. Site visits provide an objective assessment on individual locations and ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
